Rock Road Library is looking very different since the builders finished their work.
A City Council community development grant has enabled the provision of a new community room, as well as structural alterations to the room at the back to create a new children’s room with doors opening onto the library garden. The County Council has also made modifications to the body of the library, removing partitions to form a new reading area with comfy sofas.
The new facilities are due to be officially opened at the end of June – look out for details on the library noticeboard or on the Friends of Rock Road Library Facebook page.
