The neighbourhood police report a spike in the number of thefts from vehicles this month – up by a third on this time last year.
In Queen Edith’s, thefts have taken place in Long road, Hills Avenue, Marshall Road, Cavendish Avenue and Rathmore Road.
Stolen items have included sat navs, laptops, cash and clothing.
Several of the vehicles entered were unlocked.
