Many Queen Edith’s people shop at Budgens at Adkin’s Corner, just outside the Queen Edith’s ward in Coleridge ward, and represented by four Labour councillors, including the Labour Leader of Cambrdge City Council, Cllr Lewis Herbert.
While the supermarket itself is modern and pleasant to shop in, its car park was full of monster potholes. When it rained, these filled up with rain and made the area full up puddles.
As the Labour councillors seemed to have taken no action (despite holding their surgeries there), Lib Dem councillors took on the challenge of getting the forecourt sorted. The County Council has acknowledged responsibility for it and repairs have now been completed.
