The neighbourhood police for the south of the city report that bike theft has been a problem over the past week. There have been six thefts in the area as a whole, including one in Hills Avenue. Two vehicles have been damaged, one in Beaumont Road

There have been no burglaries this week.

The PCSOs are carrying out school patrols – sadly not outside any of the Queen Edith’s schools. We hope to see them in the area soon, as monitoring driving and parking outside schools is one of the police priorities this season.

Remember, on November 15th, elections are held for the Police & Crime Commissioner.
