As dawn broke this morning, Dr Tim Moore of Queen Edith’s Way was declared as the new city councillor for Queen Edith’s following yesterday’s election.
Tim polled 1,362 votes, beating Labour’s John Beresford (951) into second place, with Vince Marino (522) of the Conservatives and Joel Chalfen (363) of the Greens in third and fourth place respectively. The turnout was 48%. For the full result, see Cambridge City Council‘s elections website, and for previous results in this area, see QE election results
Our grateful thanks to all those people who supported Tim and the Lib Dems yesterday and gave us this fantastic result.
