Cllr Jenny Page-Croft was successful in bidding for money to address parking problems in Gunhild Close. The Council has drawn up a plan for yellow lines at the top of the street where it meets Gunhild Way, and at the bottom of the street near the entrance to the park. You can view it here — Gunhild Close-1200-101, or if you’d like to see a printed copy, contact Jenny or Amanda.
There are also plans for converting the single yellow lines in Fendon Close to double yellow lines. Fendon Close-1200-101.
Double yellow lines for the Hills Road end of Cavendish Avenue, the top part of Baldock Way, and a disabled parking bay outside Morley Court were advertised in February as a Traffic Regulation Order in the Cambridge News and in the street. Cavendish west_16150.GA.101 Rev B. As there were some objections, these will be considered by the City & County Council’s joint traffic committee when it meets in June.
There is now a new, separate Traffic Regulation Order for the central part of Baldock Way — see https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/travel-roads-and-parking/roads-and-pathways/roadworks-and-faults/traffic-regulation-orders/. Consultation is open until 8th June.Leave a comment
